One of my favorite things has been all the friends she has made and brought home. Her first and favorites are Theda & Bridgette. They are totally down-to-earth, perfectly comfortable with the chaos surrounding them when they are here.
Michaela did invite a larger group up for dinner last weekend. While Shan hid in the basement, the rest of us enjoyed getting to know all of them, To Shannon's credit, he was super tired.
My boys were totally smitten with Keenan, especially Nickles. A couple of the guys had learned a line dance to teach the girls, hiding in their room the entire week and only answering their door through a crack whenever anyone knocked. They performed it when they came over, but I could not stop laughing. They did an awesome job, but picturing them practicing in their room, while keeping it a secret from the girls, totally cracked me up.
I'm simply happy for Michaela. High school was a struggle since she enjoys people. College will be difficult academically, but the friendships she's developing are awesome, despite Carroll not being exactly what I would have chosen for her.
Mark's brothers are Mathew, Luke and John...how can you go wrong?
