Helium Balloons

When I brought helium balloons home the other night, the little boys were ecstatic.  Nickles even took his to bed, lying there clutching the string, while the balloon bobbed over his head.
The next morning he walked out of his room, holding the string in one hand while continually pushing the balloon back up in the air with the other.
All the helium was gone.

He was only disappointed for a while...balloons, helium or not, are not common around our house, so he enjoyed them just the way they were!

Dominic thought he needed a picture, just because ~

Stay up, balloon ~ he had removed the strings by this time ~

shortly afterward, his sisters and brothers decided 

they'd try to inhale whatever helium remained ~

So sad!
