Biweekly Menu

We used to make a weekly dinner menu and pretty much adhered to it. This forced me to plan ahead, allowed for creativity, trying new dishes more often versus our old standbys.  Since last winter we have been flying by the seat of our pants, that is not a good thing in a family of nine.
I'm not sure why I abandoned a routine that worked so well for us.
Without further ado, this is our biweekly menu in the event anyone wants to use it.

Saturday ~ Teriyaki Chicken, Couscous, Spinach Salad w/Oil & Vin
Sunday ~ Chicken Sandwiches, Peppers, Italian Sodas
Monday ~ Elk Steaks, Au Gratin Potato, Green Beans
Tuesday ~ Spaghetti & Meatballs, Green Pea Salad  (make more meatballs for the freezer)
Wednesday ~ Fish, Rice, Spinach-Strawberry Salad
Thursday ~ Enchiladas, Iceberg, Fruit Salad (make extra enchiladas for freezer)
Friday ~ Grilled Pizza, Lettuce Salad w/Ranch, Carrots
Saturday ~ Chili (make extra for freezer)
Sunday ~ Marinated Grilled Roast, Mushrooms, Baked Potato, Apple-Feta Salad
Monday ~ Tacos
Tuesday ~ Salmon, Risotto, Cobb Salad
Wednesday ~ Homemade Mac-n-Cheese, Fruit Kabobs, Spinach Salad (olive oil & salt)
Thursday ~  Fajitas w/Leftover Roast
Friday ~ Stroganoff, Broccoli-Grape Salad

How exciting!  Not really, but it does my heart good to see the next two weeks planned.
As much as I resist planning ahead, preferring the idea of spur-of-the-moment, planning is very good for me.  It is just another area where I need to find balance in life.
Since I have so much help in the kitchen, any plans should be pretty easy to implement!
